Jill is determined to find opportunities for the families of Hawaiʻi now.  She will use her experience as a mom and as a 12-year state senator balancing budgets and finding solutions to help every community in Hawaiʻi's Second Congressional District. Whether that’s increasing access to quality health care services, working to create more available and affordable housing, and safer communities, Jill will go to Washington and fight for Hawaiʻi’s fair share.

As a mom of two boys, Jill understands how much families and communities worry about keeping our kids safe.  That's why Jill has always fought to end gun violence.  While in the state legislature, she was part of the leadership team that passed 24  gun violence prevention bills including some of the toughest laws in the country. That's why groups like Moms Demand Action recognize Jill's leadership in ending gun violence as one of their 2022  Gun Sense Candidates.

Jill has a proven track record of success and is committed to working on all the issues important to the people of Hawaiʻi.
